Terms & Conditions

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms for it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Chitibot is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that lets you build AI chatbots trained on your own content, such as uploaded documents or the public pages of your website. You can test chatbots in your dashboard and embed them on websites. Features, limits and plans are described on our Pricing page and may change over time.

Chatbot replies are generated by AI and may sometimes be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. You are responsible for reviewing how your chatbot answers and for any decisions made based on its replies.

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• Tell us promptly at connect@chitibot.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
• Upload, crawl or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or that contains malware.
• Crawl websites you do not own or are not authorised to use, or try to bypass a website’s access restrictions.
• Mislead, impersonate others, send spam, or carry out fraud.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts or our systems, or interfere with their operation.
• Overload the Service, or get around plan limits, rate limits or security measures.
• Resell or provide the Service to others in a way that breaches these Terms.

You keep ownership of the documents, website content and other material you provide ("Your Content"). You are solely responsible for Your Content. You confirm that you have the rights needed to upload or crawl it and to use it with the Service, and that it does not break any law or anyone’s rights.

You give us permission to store, process and use Your Content only as needed to provide, secure and improve the Service for you, including sending relevant parts of it to AI model providers to generate replies, as described in our Privacy Policy.

If you embed a chatbot on your website, you are responsible for how it is used there, including informing your visitors about how their chat messages are handled.

• Paid plans and their prices are shown on our Pricing page. Prices for Indian customers are in Indian Rupees (INR).
• Payments are processed by our payment providers (such as Razorpay). By paying, you also agree to the payment provider’s terms.
• The Pro plan is a monthly subscription billed through Razorpay at the price shown on the Pricing page (currently ₹699/month). It renews automatically each month while the subscription is active. By subscribing, you authorise these recurring monthly charges to the payment method you set up with Razorpay (such as a card or UPI AutoPay).
• If a recurring payment fails, Razorpay may retry it. While a payment is outstanding, access to paid features may be restricted according to your subscription and billing status, and if the subscription cannot be renewed your account moves to the Free plan.
• The Free plan remains available to you at any time, including after a paid period ends.
• Usage limits (such as chatbots, documents and monthly messages) depend on your plan. Message usage resets monthly.
• Applicable taxes, if any, may be added as required by law.
• We may change prices or plan features in the future. Changes will not affect a payment you have already made.

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard. When you cancel, your subscription stops renewing and no further monthly payments will be taken. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current paid billing period, after which your account moves to the Free plan. The amount paid for the current billing period is non-refundable, and there is no prorated refund for a partially used billing period. Full details are in our Cancellation & Refund Policy.

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available. The Service may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or problems with our providers or the internet. We may change, add or remove features over time.

The Service, including its software, design, branding and the Chitibot name and logo, belongs to us or our licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service while your account is active. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the Service, except as allowed by law.

The Service relies on third-party services, such as hosting providers, AI model providers, Google Sign-In and payment processors. Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account by emailing connect@chitibot.com.

We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if your use creates a risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we may delete your account data as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and the accuracy of AI-generated replies.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above, and for significant changes we may also notify you by email or in the Service. If you continue to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.
